The Guild unites representatives of Russian and foreign media (of newspapers, magazines, radio stations, TV companies) in St-Petersburg.


Purposes of Establishment the Guild of Correspondents:

  • improvement of information and technical services for journalists - members of the Guild, cultivation of modern information technologies,
  • organization of regular meetings with city authorities, politicians, scientists, businessmen, cultural workers and artists
  • maintenance of the favourable conditions for professional relations of the members of the Guild having similar status and working, as a rule, remotely from their editorial offices,
  • establishing international contacts and professional exchanges with collegues from other countries
The Guild aims at formation of objective and stable image of St-Petersburg in Russian and abroad.

The Guild was established in 1997 as public organization and officially registered with the Office of Justice for the City of St-Petersburg.
